IRB Infrastructure’s SPV signs Concession Agreement with HMDA

The IRB Golkonda Expressway Private Limited, a Project SPV of IRB Infrastructure Developers Ltd. (IRB Infra) – has signed the Concession Agreement today with Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) for Tolling and Operations & Maintenance of Jawaharlal Nehru Outer Ring Road, popularly known as Hyderabad ORR in the State of Telangana on Toll-OperateTransfer (TOT) basis.

Key highlights of the Project are as under:

Project length158 km
Project featuresThe Project will have toll plaza at 22 interchanges, 8 major bridges,
122 minor bridges, a flyover, 4 railway over bridges, 168 underpasses,
large number of culverts & causeways. Total service road length is
~ 294 Kms. The Project has close loop tolling.
Upfront Payment to be
made to the HMDA
Rs 7,380 crore
Concession PeriodRevenue linked Concession Period of 30 years from the Appointed Date

IRB Infra had received Letter of Award for this project on 27 th April 2023 after emerging the selected bidder in global competitive bids invited by the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA).
